Arbeitgeberverband Region Braunschweig e.V.
Since its foundation in 1949, AGV Region Braunschweig e.V. has represented the interests of the business community in Braunschweig, Salzgitter, Wolfsburg, Gifhorn, Helmstedt, Peine and Wolfenbüttel.
Together with the regional association of NiedersachsenMetall, which is associated with it in a spirit of partnership, and the regional wholesale and services association, the AGV represents more than 1,000 member companies, which stand for more than 125,000 jobs subject to social insurance contributions in the region.
BANSON Business Angel Netzwerk e.V.
The Business Angel Netzwerk Süd-Ost Niedersachsen (BANSON) is an association that aims to promote an innovative start-up culture. Members and supporters include institutions such as Wolfsburg AG, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, the Technical University of Braunschweig, as well as companies and private individuals.
Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V.
Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V. (BAND) is committed to building up the business angels culture in Germany, organizing the exchange of experience and promoting cooperation. BAND is the spokesperson for business angels networks vis-à-vis politics and the public and represents the interests of business angels in the interest of young innovative companies.
BAND was founded in 1998 as a registered association. Since 2001, BAND has been the recognized umbrella organization of German business angels and their networks.
Richard Borek Unternehmensgruppe
As one of Braunschweig’s most traditional companies, the Richard Borek Group has recognized the social and economic relevance of start-ups. In 2017, Prof. Dr. Reza Asghari’s Entrepreneurship Hub and Richard Borek Jr. were able to launch the joint project of the first digital accelerator program for Braunschweig. Since then, the accelerator program has been held regularly under the brand borek.digital, and over time, additional events such as the Startup Weekend including Pitch Night and the UNIcorn Startup Party have been added. A Silicon Valley scholarship for master’s students and a doctoral scholarship for researching digital business models are also offered. The joint partnership aims to engage the region’s citizens and students in entrepreneurship while calling for more initiative and entrepreneurial daring.

Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH
Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH advises on location issues, arranges commercial space, promotes start-ups and operates a successful technology park, which has already twice been awarded the title of “Recognized Innovation Center” by the Federal Association of German Innovation, Technology and Start-up Centers. Many companies started here that are now active in Germany and abroad from Braunschweig – proof that technology transfer works very well here. Technology transfer and innovation promotion are just as much a part of our tasks as the coordination of the Braunschweig start-up network. In doing so, we plan and act in cooperation with regional institutions to exploit Braunschweig’s great potential for business.
Consult One e.V.
As a student consulting organization, Consult One’s fundamental goals are to offer customers high-quality consulting services and to give students the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and develop their personal skills during their studies. The students of the universities in the region of Braunschweig use current university knowledge to advise companies from different industries in a variety of diversified problems with individual solution ideas to optimize success.
German Accelerator
The German Silicon Valley Accelerator (GSVA) supports German start-ups from the information and communications industry to explore the US market and growth opportunities there for three consecutive months.
Each quarter, up to four companies have the opportunity to participate in the GSVA program and establish a presence in California’s Silicon Valley. If the program is successful and the market is promising, there is also the option of an extension of the stay.
iTUBS mbH
The innovation society mediates contacts between industry and the institutes of the TU and advises on the design of research and development contracts. This gives industry and SMEs access to the resources (to scientists and infrastructure) of the participating institutes.
iTUBS is the first point of contact and leading service agency for the initiation and realization of projects between the institutes of the TU Braunschweig and commercial enterprises.
Wolfsburg AG
Wolfsburg AG is a joint venture between the city of Wolfsburg and Volkswagen AG (“Public Private Partnership”). Since 1999, Wolfsburg AG has been providing important impulses for the development of the fields of mobility, education, energy, health as well as leisure. In these areas, they support the transformation of innovative ideas into workable business models.
German Israeli Network of Startups & Mittelstand (GINSUM)
GINSUM is a platform initiated by ELNET (European Leadership Network) and supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) to connect German SMEs and municipal stakeholders with Israeli startups. GINSUM provides networking opportunities through events, workshops, pitching formats and roadshows, as well as information and practical support for growth opportunities on both sides. GINSUM thus predominantly aims to reduce existing deficits in the field of digitalization in Germany, to promote Israeli innovation in Germany, and to unleash significant synergies.
